IIRME Brand Summit
June 9th, 2010 by brandinginthekingdomofsaudiOur KSA Associate and I recently attended the IIRME Saudi Brand Summit at the Marriott Hotel, Riyadh. It was a good event, some very good presentations from all including a very enlightening one on digital from Terry Kane at Jumierah and a glimpse of the future by Emaar in the shape of King Abdullah Economic City. We met a wide range of people, from potential clients (Inshallah) to some really creative, talented and enthusiastic designers, artists, photographers and branding practictioners, from all over the world but many Saudi – this excites us, and we want to help build this community further – watch this space! Brand summit was really great opportunity for all creative to meet .. although I think the advertising for this event should take larger perspectives .. but as a first attempt it was a hub that gathers many interested people from different sectors to share their ideas, thoughts and inputs about branding.
some lectures were out of the box of branding but in general it worth attending ..
I hope to have more creative events here in Saudi Arabia very soon.
