April 23rd, 2009 by dermotoshea

Oh, I would like to see this. From next month, legendary department store Selfridges is celebrating its 100th birthday and is marking the occasion by hosting a huge festival at its Oxford Street store.Shoppers will be entertained by a programme of fashion, music, caberet, vogueing workshops and the Selfridgettes, a troupe of beautiful people dressed in yellow.

The store has also collaborated with a variety of designers to create exclusive merchandise in the trademark Selfridges Pantone 109 yellow, including a Giles Deacon dress (with eyes), Chuck Taylors from Converse, a Marc Jacobs bag and a pair of Guiseppe Zanotti heels. The limited edition collection of pieces will be available from 1 May.selfridges11.jpgselfridgesyellow.jpg
