Photosynth

A gentleman called Blaise Aguera y Arcas leads a video demo of Photosynth at a TED conference, he’s a bit geeky but this software is pretty dam clever. This software could transform the way we look at digital images.

Using still photos culled from the Web, Photosynth builds interesting dreamscapes and lets us navigate them. Essentially in the next few years all images published on the web will be linked. Also it may encourage searches on the web to be retrieved in a different format as opposed to the standard lists we see all the time.
