Photosynth

A gentleman called Blaise Aguera y Arcas leads a video demo of Photosynth at a TED conference, he’s a bit geeky but this software is pretty dam clever. This software could transform the way we look at digital images.

Using still photos culled from the Web, Photosynth builds interesting dreamscapes and lets us navigate them. Essentially in the next few years all images published on the web will be linked. Also it may encourage searches on the web to be retrieved in a different format as opposed to the standard lists we see all the time.

Fun experience site to support the new game on PS3 called Little Big Planet. Just click on generator to build your own character, pick hats, noses, glasses etc. Also the site can export your character into your facebook or bebo accounts if you’re into that sort of thing. Very clever technology here.Take me there
